Team – One of the reasons I ran for Senate is that my predecessor, anti-choice Republican Kelly Ayotte, voted to defund Planned Parenthood SIX times. I defeated her by the narrowest margin in the country – 1,017 votes.

Since then, a conservative Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, gutting protections for reproductive rights across the country.

Fast forward and my 2022 campaign spent more than we initially planned in order to stop another anti-choice MAGA Republican from going to Congress. We’re still paying down those bills which means that we haven’t been able to raise for next cycle.

We’re at a HUGE disadvantage – while others are able to raise for their next reelection, we’re still paying off the past. As long as those bills are unpaid, we’re fighting to protect abortion access with one hand tied behind our backs.
