Since Donald Trump’s indictment last Monday night, Marjorie Taylor Greene has been making headlines -- defending Trump and floating her own U.S. Senate or Vice Presidential bid.

Fulton County DA Fani Willis’ indictment of Donald Trump and his cronies brings us closer to justice for Trump's actions in the aftermath of the 2020 election. Just like Trump himself, Marjorie Taylor Greene is using this indictment to try to stir unrest and bolster her own reputation among their far right base.

This week, MTG told the press that “Fani Willis should be going after murderers, rapists, car thefts…” instead of former President Trump. (Of course, social media had a field day with that one!). She’s using the same playbook as the former President to deflect, distract, and attack DA Willis instead of answer for charges brought against Trump and his co-conspirators.

We need leaders here in Georgia who will always fight to protect our elections, not make them less safe and secure. We need to support DA Fani Willis against these baseless attacks from the far-right.
