Good evening PPC Membership,

After the election I have taken some time to devote to family and allowed
myself time to decompress. I have been able to focus on work, getting my
snowmobile running, and been able to enjoy time with friends and family.

I just wanted you all to know that the PPC organization for this riding is
still intact. We have submitted all EC Canada forms regarding political
financing rules and regulations. Those that contributed to the campaign I
was very happy to have returned Tax Donation Receipts to all of you.

I am taking the time to write all of you because I am concerned with the
direction Mr. Trudeau is taken our economy, and our political landscape. We
are in serious danger both economically and politically.
The illegal blockades of the railways must end. Trudeau is offering a lot
of empty platitudes, and only after 16 days of crisis did he admit the
blockages must come down. When will our Prime Minister decide to get tough
and actually do something about the situation? Ever day of inaction is
causing freighter ships to back up on the Vancouver coastline. Each day of
inaction is causing workers to be laid off in the transportation sector and
very quickly many farmers and commercial buildings in Quebec are going to
be running out of propane for heating fuel. The railways have built Canada,
and Trudeau is choking the very heart of our nation-and maybe that is his
intent. (He does have the intention of a UN appointment after all...)
Politically we are showing weakness nationally and internationally. This
weak political leadership is damaging reconciliation efforts because the
Coastal Gas Project has the majority support of the Elected Chiefs. This
inaction is damaging the careers of those Indigenous youth who could become
educated in pipeline technology and maintenance, which would provide them
good opportunities and jobs well into the future. We are in a major
crisis *which
requires action* not *wordsmithery and empty platitudes*. A PPC government
would have ended the blockade immediately using military or police force if
necessary and sought all effort to make peace a reality. We cannot allow a
group of anarchistic non elected hereditary chiefs to hold the rest of
Canada and their own people hostage to insatiable demands. I still believe
the PPC platform is the best way forward to represent
*Freedom-Responsibility-Respect
and Fairness* in Canada. Canada needs to remain united, because there are
forces in the world that seek to keep us infighting and divided. We
desperately need to reform regional and national issues that provide more
fair and balanced approaches for all.

Hopefully we can have another get together soon for PPC members and maybe
you can bring some of your friends that are interested in finding a party
that does politics differently. I will let everyone know when we will do
another get together.

Regards,

Martin Deck
