This week Fox News ramped up their attacks on Representative Bush, accusing Cori and other progressives of “celebrating” and “cheering on” Trump’s fourth indictment.

Fox host Laura Ingraham said: “These people are sick… The sick fantasy never ends… Of course, for years, the Humiliation Squad has been itching to see not just that Trump mug shot, but also to have him behind bars.”

The way we see it, if it makes Fox hosts angry, Cori must be doing something right! One thing we can promise, Cori doesn’t hold back. She will always tell it like it is.

What Cori actually said was: “The twice-impeached former white supremacist-in-chief now has as many indictments as he had years in office -- four. May he be held accountable for every bit of his gross misconduct. May we never experience another moment of his tyrannical, incompetent rule.”

This “celebration” shouldn’t be necessary. Trump shouldn’t have tried to “find” the 11,780 non-existent Georgia votes, pressuring Georgia’s election officials to overturn election results. He shouldn’t have created slates of fake electors. On January 6, he shouldn’t have incited the crowd, which he knew was armed, to assault hundreds of police officers and break into the Capitol to try to stop the counting of electoral votes.

But he did. He did all of the above and more, enough to warrant 91 felony charges in total. And his eight-year stranglehold on the far right of American politics continues to pose a real and present threat to our democracy.
