Hello Dallas County Young Republicans!
 
This is a friendly reminder that we would love for you to join us tomorrow, Monday, February 24^th at 6:30 PM at British Beverage Company (BBC) in Uptown for a special new event – “Running for Office 101”!  We will host a panel discussion with three of our very own Dallas YR members that are currently running for elected office in Dallas County – Genevieve Collins for Congressional District 32, Luisa del Rosal for Texas House District 114, and Will Douglas for Texas House District 113. 
 
We’re going to ask these three YR’s how they made the decision to run, what the experience of campaigning has been like, how they juggle their careers with a run for elected office, and more.  We want our members to have the chance to interact with peers about the truth of running for office in a fun, open environment. 
The event will take place in the back room of British Beverage Company, which we have reserved.
 
The timing of this event could not be better! 
Early voting for the Republican primary started on February 18^th and continues through February 28^th.  Election day is Tuesday, March 3^rd.

Lastly, one of our event panelists and fellow Young Republicans, Luisa del Rosal, has generously invited the Dallas YR’s to attend a fundraiser/meet & greet on Tuesday February 25^th from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM.  This event will be a fun way to get to know Luisa better and interact with other YR’s.  Attached to this email you’ll find an event flyer with all of the details.
