This week marked the one-year anniversary of the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act.
This law lowered the cost of prescription drugs for seniors, raised taxes on the wealthiest corporations, and invested billions of dollars into clean energy projects and conservation efforts. Arizona alone is receiving $4 billion to put into fighting the climate crisis, creating green energy jobs, and improving our infrastructure — including $44 million for Tucson.
The Inflation Reduction Act has strengthened our economy and given our working families the breathing room they need.
But every single Republican in Congress voted against it — and after taking office, Kirsten's opponent voted to roll back key provisions.
Democrats were only able to pass the Inflation Reduction Act because we had majorities in the House and the Senate. If we want to win back our majority in the House, we need to elect Kirsten.
Arizona's Sixth Congressional District has been identified as one of the most flippable seats in the country. It's one of only eighteen districts currently held by a Republican that President Biden won in 2020. And Kirsten lost by one of the smallest margins in 2022.
Kirsten is a mom, an environmental attorney, and a former State Legislator who has spent the past six years fighting to restore funding to public schools, protect Arizona's natural resources, and make our communities safer.
She’s ready to take that fight to Washington to find common-sense solutions to the challenges we’re facing here in Arizona's Sixth Congressional District.
