The legislative elections in Virginia are getting a lot of national media attention, folks.

The GOP is looking for a resurgence in the Commonwealth, folks. And oh boy, are they eager. The Wall Street Journal reminds us that the GOP hasn't controlled both General Assembly houses and the governorship in 10 years. No wonder they’re working so hard to raise unprecedented amounts of cash and investing in their new early-voting operation. If they take complete control of Virginia, there’s no stopping them from importing misguided policies from other Republican-led states.

And with Democrats only controlling the Virginia Senate by a 4 seat margin, the GOP knows they have a real chance of achieving this renaissance they’re dreaming of.
