Telecom companies knew these cables were left abandoned and did nothing to mitigate the potential harm to our communities — including right here in the Hudson Valley, where soil tested positive for heightened lead levels (including right next to a playground).

Pat is demanding answers: he’s called for a congressional hearing on this matter and is urging these companies to remove these dangerous cables immediately.
