The bipartisan American Dream and Promise Act would finally create a pathway to citizenship for DACA recipients and those with Temporary Protected Status (TPS) or Deferred Enforced Departure.
It’s past time for Congress to take action after decades of inaction, broken promises, and treating immigrants like a political bargaining chip.
Now, Congress’ inaction is once again leaving DACA recipients in limbo as they wait for Judge Hanen’s ruling, which could come at any day.
We have to keep the pressure on Congress to provide ALL undocumented people with a pathway to citizenship immediately — that way, we don’t have to depend on right-wing courts to protect us.
