Friend,
Congresswoman Lauren Boebert had another packed week on the campaign trail in the 3rd District and we want to make sure you didn't miss any of our updates! Check out our recap below:
MEETING WITH VETS: Earlier this month, Rep. Boebert met with "Vets for Vets" in Pagosa Springs to discuss the six bipartisan, pro-veteran amendments she recently got passed through the House. These amendments provided more funding for extended care, prosthetic research, burial benefits, and suicide prevention for veterans.
FIRESIDE CHAT IN FRUITA: On Monday, Congresswoman Boebert joined Mesa County Commissioner Janet Rowland for a "fireside chat" on the results she's gotten for the district, including nearly $20 million secured for 3rd District water and infrastructure projects. WATCH the coverage from KJCT here!
MONTROSE PRESS OP-ED: Last Saturday, the Montrose Daily Press printed an op-ed applauding Congresswoman Boebert's growth as a legislator and her recent work to secure more money for funding local projects and care for veterans. You can read the entire piece here.
TRIP TO DURANGO: Congresswoman Boebert also recently spent time in La Plata County where she met with County Commissioners and sat down with the Durango Herald. The positive coverage included a mention of the $1.5 million the Congresswoman secured for a critical new stoplight in Bayfield.
