Dear friend

THE DSEI 2023 ARMS FAIR IS DUE TO RETURN TO EXCEL IN LONDON DOCKLANDS IN
SEPTEMBER. Protests and vigils are expected [1], starting in the week
before the fair from 4 September, through the weekend and into the week of
the fair itself, which begins on 12 September.

TO HELP YOU FIND OUT MORE ABOUT DSEI, HOW TO GET INVOLVED IN THE
RESISTANCE, AND UNDERSTAND MORE ABOUT POLICING AT THE FAIR, JOIN US ON 30
AUGUST 2023 7PM (ZOOM). YOU CAN SIGN UP VIA EVENTBRITE [2] (and get
reminders/updates), or REPLY TO THIS NOTE to get the Zoom details for the
meeting.

DSEI is not just where war starts. It is where murderous borders are built.
Where police are militarised. Where companies profit from weapons marketed
as "combat proven" after being used on Palestinians. Where the climate
crisis is ignored.

SIGN UP [3] TO FIND OUT MORE ON 30 AUG, and also KEEP AN EYE ON THE STOP
THE ARMS FAIR EVENTS PAGE [1] OR ON THE CAAT EVENTS PAGE [4]  to get the
latest information on planned protests, events and vigils.

Let's put a stop to this dreadful fair!

P.S. There are a couple of "Know Your Rights" training sessions coming up
before the protests. One this coming week, on 23rd August from Green and
Black Cross (online, more info here [5]), and another in person in Newham
from Netpol and Stop the Arms Fair on 31 August (more info here [6]).
Please join these to understand the latest changes in the law and protest
policing.
