I’m in this fight because I’m committed to stopping Republican attacks on the Affordable Care Act. The Trump administration’s reckless budget cuts to Medicare, Medicaid, and the Centers for Disease Control (which will seriously impact our ability to address global pandemics like the Coronavirus) are just the latest round of attacks on Americans’ access to care.
After seeing my own father struggle to pay for life-saving prescriptions, I vowed to fight for change. Together, I believe we can stop these ruthless attacks. Most importantly, I believe that we can reform our system to work better for everyone.
Adding a public option that competes with private insurance and expanding Medicaid to cover the millions of Americans who’ve fallen through the cracks of a broken system are just some of the reforms I’m fighting for. But I want to hear from you.
