Friend,
The wildfires on Maui have killed more than 100 people and over 1,000 others still remain missing. Thousands of homes and businesses were destroyed. The path to recovery will be long and extremely challenging for the families who are still struggling to make sense of this heartbreaking tragedy.
This is the deadliest wildfire recorded in modern U.S. history. And we know that climate change amplified the intensity of these fires. I remain committed to fighting the climate crisis and protecting communities like Lāhainā from future disasters.
But today, we must focus on helping the families most impacted by these devastating fires and supporting on-going recovery efforts.
That's why I'm asking you to join me in making a donation to support the Hawaii Community Foundation. Your support will go directly to providing shelter, food, clean water, diapers, and other essentials to families impacted by the fires. Please, will you make a donation to help families in Maui?

Thank you in advance for your generosity.
With love,
Kirsten
