John,

By now, many of us have seen the devastation and destruction that has
taken place in Lahaina Town, Maui. As of this week, more than 111 people
have died from the Maui wildfires, and it is expected that we’ll see a
rise in that number over time.

John, now more
than ever, we must show up for our Maui neighbors and do everything we can
to support their community as they work to heal and rebuild.

Our team has compiled a list of mutual aid organizations and groups who
are on the ground supporting Maui residents with food, resources, and
security. If you are able, please consider contributing to one or all of
these resources.

Once you’re finished, please share this email with your network of friends
and family to help boost our collective efforts.

* Maui Just Recovery Fund

Hosted by the Amalgamated Foundation, the Maui Just Recovery Fund supports
immediate relief efforts to house, feed, and support displaced families
and dedicate resources for the long term effects to rebuild and advance
structural changes.

Again, please consider donating to support Maui and Hawaiians who are
mitigating the devastating aftermath of these wildfires. And please share
this email with your network to help boost our collective mutual aid
efforts in light of these events.

With love and in solidarity,

Pramila Jayapal
