Notice of Timeline for Final Consideration - Columbus Peak Ranch Land Exchange

The Office of State Lands and Investments (?OSLI?), in coordination with the applicant, and at the request of the Sheridan County Board of Commissioners, has implemented the following timeline leading to final consideration of the Columbus Peak Ranch Land Exchange by the Board of Land Commissioners (?Board?) at its October 5, 2023 regularly scheduled meeting.

This timeline is intended to allow completion of negotiations between the recreating public and the applicant, provide time for OSLI to review and publish the outcome of the negotiations, allow for an additional public hearing to be held as requested by the Sheridan County Board of Commissioners prior to final Board consideration, and allow time for OSLI to compile and provide its review and any public comments received to the Board prior to its meeting.

The location and time of the public hearing will be published at a later date as logistics are finalized.

Timeline

August 31, 2023????? ????????? Negotiations to be completed

September 8, 2023??????????? OSLI to publish negotiation results and review

September 19, 2023????????? Public hearing in Sheridan County

September 28, 2023????????? Provide all material to the Board

October 5, 2023???????????????? Regularly scheduled Board meeting (Final Consideration)

Written comments will be accepted following OSLI's publication of negotiation results and review on September 8, 2023 through September 22, 2023.
