Hi John, I’m Joe Neguse, and it’s my honor to represent Colorado’s Second Congressional District in the US House of Representatives. In a moment, I’m going to ask you to make a donation to the Colorado Democratic Party and my campaign, but first let me share why your support means so much. [[link removed]]
I’m the proud son of immigrants. My parents came to the U.S. from East Africa over 40 years ago, and they never forgot or took for granted the freedom and opportunities the United States gave them and their children.
Their experience motivated me and inspired me to be an active participant in our democracy at an early age, and to give back however I could through public service.
So I started off by working to get young people across Colorado registered to vote and expand access to the ballot box. Later, as a member of the Governor’s Cabinet, I fought to expand economic opportunities by protecting the civil rights of every Coloradan.
Now in Congress, I’m honored to serve in House Leadership to make sure the voices of hardworking families are heard. I’m proud to be leading the fight to ensure Colorado’s priorities are Congress’s priorities, like pushing for better pay for our wildland firefighters and more protections for our public lands.
And after our democracy came under attack on January 6th, Speaker Pelosi asked me to serve as an impeachment manager in former President Trump’s second impeachment trial. It was a solemn responsibility and duty that I took very seriously – because for me, nothing is more important than protecting the sacred right to vote in free and fair elections.
I believe it’s the job of every single member of Congress to put their differences aside and do what’s right for all of our communities, and I’m so proud of the progress we made in the past two years.
But our progress is at risk – and to protect it, we need to win back the House. The fight for the House will be waged in Colorado, and it’s up to all of us to make sure Democrats have what it takes to win. Will you split a donation between the Colorado Democratic Party and my campaign to help us win in 2024? [[link removed]]

We should always fight to make the American Dream a reality for all Americans. That means creating good-paying jobs; making sure every child has access to quality education; and leaving behind a safe, clean environment for our children.
But with Republicans pushing their political agenda, and their efforts to undo all the progress we made together, we need to fight even harder to defend our values.
So, John, I hope you’ll split $10 or $20 to help the Colorado Democratic Party and my team fight for progress and win for Colorado families. [[link removed]]
Thanks for your support,
Congressman Joe Neguse
