In 2022, razor-thin victories in states like Arizona and Nevada helped Democrats prevent the predicted "red wave" and expand their Senate majority. But according to our team's recent analysis, we could have easily avoided tight races in these states by investing even just a little more in Latino turnout:

The governor's race in Arizona and the Senate race in Nevada were both so tight in 2022 that it took days to count the ballots and learn the final result. But if there had been even just 5% more investment in Latino turnout, Democrats could have won by a much more comfortable margin.
