Today marks the 103rd anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment: The landmark amendment which extended suffrage to women across the country.

However, 103 years later, we still find ourselves pushing for equal representation and fighting for women to have a seat at the table – especially within the marginalized communities for whom enfranchisement didn't come for decades after the 19th Amendment.

Even in the 118th Congress – where a record-breaking number of women are serving – women only comprise 28% of the members.

It’s past time for change. And with women’s fundamental freedoms under attack, it’s never been more important to elect and re-elect female trailblazers, like Andrea, to Congress. We still have a long way to go before Congress will be representative of the diversity of genders, ethnicities, religions, backgrounds, and ideas present among the American people.
