New Jerseyans should beware of fraudulent charitable solicitations when seeking to donate to relief efforts in Hawaii. Charity organizations that solicit donations in New Jersey are required to register with the State. Don't be fooled by a convincing name or professional-looking website. Check a charity's status with the Division of Consumer Affairs.

*StopOverdoses.NJ.gov: New Website Provides Help During Overdose Emergencies [ [link removed] ]*

New Jerseyans aged 14 and older can get free naloxone nasal spray kits from any of 610 currently participating pharmacies across the state. *StopOverdoses.NJ.gov [ [link removed] ],* a new website, helps visitors find the nearest participating pharmacy. Naloxone rapidly reverses the effect of an opioid overdose. People asking for naloxone do not need to provide a name or reason.

SNAP Navigators are available in all 21 counties to help people seeking assistance from the state *Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) [ [link removed] ].* SNAP Navigators can answer questions about SNAP and can help people apply for SNAP benefits. There are 11 agencies with SNAP Navigators available to assist residents throughout New Jersey.
