John, it’s been a busy summer on the campaign trail here in CA-47.

With every event, I am meeting so many voters who share their stories and hopes with me. I am energized by the folks we are meeting, and I know they see how important it is to keep this open seat blue in 2024.

I want to share an update on what I’ve been up to on the ground. While our likely Republican opponent has been preparing for Trump’s impending visit to Orange County, I’ve been out on the trail getting to know the hard-working people I hope to represent in Congress.

Earlier this week, I was honored to speak at the Orange County Young Democrats meeting. These young leaders have played an integral role in keeping OC blue.

I recently attended the Orange County Labor Federation’s Solidarity Awards Gala. It was an honor to celebrate the laborers who better the lives of all working people in OC.

Late last month, I took part in the CA-47 candidate forum. I am proud of how far this campaign has come, and I am confident that this team has what it takes to beat Scott Baugh, fight for reproductive rights, and so much more for our communities.

In August, I attended an event supporting Planned Parenthood of San Bernardino and Orange Counties. It was inspiring to hear from their staff and Board about their fight to protect reproductive choice for women locally and nationally.

I joined the former Congressman Harley Rouda, at an event discussing the steps we have taken to protect and restore our oceans. There is still work to be done on this issue, and I’m proud to make addressing climate change a top issue of our campaign.

As you can see, we’ve had a busy last several weeks on the trail! Traveling across the district truly motivates me to build the momentum we need to get ahead in this race and win this seat for CA-47.
