This is Sharla, Jon’s wife. We have been out in the field working this past month for harvest season. The weather was really hot yesterday which dried out the recent rains.

Equipment has broken down a few times, but Jon’s in good spirits.

I love this time of year, when we truly see all our hard work for the season come to a head. But finishing harvest isn't the only thing worth celebrating. Monday is Jon’s birthday!

I'm thankful that we will get to spend the day together, and I’d love to surprise him with something really special.
