Friend, last week, Ohio came out strong to reject a GOP amendment that would've made it harder for us to protect abortion rights. We rejected special interests and partisan power grabs to demand that democracy remain where it belongs: in the hands of voters.

One of my potential opponents, Frank LaRose, led the charge to get the GOP's anti-democratic amendment on the ballot. As secretary of state, his job is to empower voters – not strip them of their voices. But instead of righting the ship after this disaster of an election, he's doubling down by advocating for a national abortion ban.

That is not the kind of leader Ohioans want or need in the Senate.

But polls show this race in a dead heat, and experts say that it's going to be one of the most expensive races in the country. I'm counting on a surge of grassroots support to ensure I have what it takes to defend this seat and the Senate from anti-choice Republicans.
