Hi John,
We are incredibly honored to host state Senate Majority Leader Teresa Ruiz for the first time in Morris County at our "Celebrating Inspiring Women" event on Aug. 23 at Jockey Hollow in Morristown.
In 2007, Senator Ruiz made history as the first Puerto Rican elected to the state Senate. She made history again in 2022 when she became the Senate Majority leader and the first Latina to lead either the New Jersey Assembly or Senate! She has been re-elected five times to represent Legislative District 29.
Sign up to meet the amazing groundbreaker Senator Ruiz and special guests: retired state Senator Loretta Weinberg and Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill. We are offering special reduced pricing for Young Democrats and Students to encourage the next generation of leadership to attend! RSVP - https://secure.actblue.com/donate/mcdc823
