These (increasingly hot) days, it’s not often we hear good climate news, team.

So I’m taking this rare opportunity to share something awesome with you: POLITICO found that this year, wind and solar energy alone generated MORE power than coal for the first time in U.S. history!

I’ve got plenty to say on this topic, but before I get on my soapbox: Will you help fuel our ongoing fight for a clean energy future?

The “former king of American power” – the ultra-polluting Big Coal industry – is being steadily replaced by smarter, cleaner, and safer forms of energy.

“The milestone illustrates the ongoing transformation of the U.S. power sector as the nation races to install cleaner forms of energy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from fossil fuels.”
– POLITICO

As a former clean energy entrepreneur, scientist, and huge proponent of climate action in Washington, this is the clearest sign that our dedication and perseverance are paying off.

It’s proof that Big Coal, the fossil fuel industry, and the right-wing politicians in their pockets are playing for the losing team.

So please, let’s turn up the heat on these climate culprits. Will you chip in $25 to support this fight?
