John,

Mandatory training on DEI has become commonplace in people’s places of work and in our education system.

But what is DEI?

It means Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Seemingly harmless, but it’s actually a deeply pernicious movement.

It is basically the mainstreaming of cultural marxism or critical theory.

You may have heard these terms thrown around, but they are academic jargon and many people don’t know what they actually mean.

Marxism is an economic and political theory. It’s complicated and has an extensive history but simply put, it’s a worldview that divides people or groups into two classes: oppressors and oppressed.

In an economic sense: capitalists are the oppressors while workers are the oppressed.

In a cultural or social context it is generally viewed through a racial lens. Whites are the oppressors and non-whites are the oppressed.

This worldview has become increasingly mainstream in my lifetime and it is deeply harmful to the social fabric of our country.

We have to call it what it is: anti-white racism.

They try to conceal it in academic jargon, but you have to call a spade a spade.

Calling a white person an oppressor simply because of the colour of his or her skin is racist, there is no other way to put it.

In Canada, governments, school boards and businesses pay tens of thousands of dollars to “DEI Consultants” to hold indoctrination sessions just to avoid accusations of racism.

White people, children and adults, are taught to be ashamed of their identity. They are taught that Canada is a “bastion of white supremacy”, and that white people are the villains in our history.

Disagreeing with this analysis, suggesting that history and social issues require more nuance, will lead to accusations of racism and put you at risk of being fired or “cancelled”.

Treating people equally isn’t enough for these people. White people must kneel and admonish themselves for actions of generations past.

It’s an absurd standard to hold people to, and completely toxic to the social fabric of this country.

For years, the mantra of the Trudeau Liberals and the wider leftist political establishment has been “Diversity is our strength”.

But this simply isn’t true. Historically, our strength has come from overcoming our differences to unite in order to accomplish incredible things.

Unity is our strength and you should question the motives of anyone who tells you otherwise.

This toxic ideology must be called out for what it is.

You won’t see Pierre Poilievre speak out against this, he’s too afraid of being called racist to stand up for what is right and best for our country.

We must put an end to DEI brainwashing. We must stop vilifying the great men and women of days past.
