A few years ago I learned about a lifesaving treatment for PTSD - one that most people don't expect. Twice in the same night, I spoke to two veterans who said that psychedelic therapies had saved their lives. One had tried to commit suicide five times, and nothing worked until ONE treatment with psychedelics. That moment was the turning point that jumpstarted my bipartisan bill for more research into lifesaving psychedelic therapies for active-duty service members. It's unconventional, but it works. The testimonies speak for themselves.
