| House Speaker Dade Phelan wants nothing more than to use this sham impeachment as a way to score
political points with his Democrat colleagues in the House. House members didn’t even know what was going on until 48 hours before the
vote. And then, instead of leaving members to vote their conscience, Phelan and his allies whipped votes and bullied House Republicans behind the
scenes. As Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas, it is my job to amplify the views of grassroots Republicans. And less than a year ago, it was grassroots Republicans just like you who overwhelmingly re-elected Ken Paxton to another term. | Paxton’s impeachment trial is set to begin in the Texas Senate on September 5th. Grassroots Republicans must make
