John – Pennsylvania just created a new worker training initiative that is the first of its kind in America.

The Commonwealth Workforce Transformation Program will utilize federal infrastructure money to expand Pennsylvania’s skilled workforce – ensuring that future critical infrastructure projects will have the prepared and trained workers they need.

This program is a big one – it can provide training for up to 10,000 workers statewide.

I’m serious about infrastructure, and this program will ensure our Commonwealth has enough resources and workers to build the roads, bridges, and trains we’ll need in the decades ahead.

Whether it’s through workforce training programs like this, or by waiving the college-education requirement for the vast majority of state jobs, I’m proud to support working Pennsylvanians in every way I can.
