The Quarterly Service Survey estimated U.S. total revenue for air transportation was $271.3B in 2022, up from $181.1B in 2012. Q1 2023 was $71.1B.

Woodward Dream Cruise: August 19

The Woodward Dream Cruise claims to be ?the world?s largest one-day automotive event, drawing over 1-million people and 40,000 classic cars each year.?

National Senior Citizens Day: August 21

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, there were 55.8 million U.S. residents 65 years and older in the 2020 Census and 57.8 million in the July 1, 2022, population estimates.

Women?s Equality Day: August 26

According to the Current Population Survey, 2020 voter turnout was 68.4% for women and 65.0% for men. About 9.7 million more women than men voted.

Back to School: August

The October 2021 Current Population Survey found 73.8 million total students enrolled in school, which is 23.5 percent of the population 3 years and older.

Summer 2023: June 21-September 23

In the United States, summer 2023 began with the Summer Solstice on June 21 at 10:58 a.m. EDT. It ends with the Autumnal Equinox on September 23 at 2:50 a.m. EDT. ?

2023 Atlantic Hurricane Season:

June 1-November 30
