Dan Lipinski has decided the only way he can win is by attacking Marie and our campaign by saying things like “we can’t afford her ideas” and calling her “extreme.”

That’s why his first TV ad is a misleading series of Republican talking points about Marie’s stance on health care.

The truth is: Dan knows just as well as we do that, when voters know the truth about his record, he’s the one who’s radically out of step with our values.

We can’t afford someone who votes against Obamacare, and works with Republicans to dismantle it. We can’t afford a representative who fails to stand up to this administration when it comes to inhumane immigration policies. We can’t afford to have our voice in Congress siding with those who want to overturn Roe v. Wade.

We deserve to have a representative who will fight for what we hold dear -- not buddy up with Donald Trump and the Republicans.
