Hi John, Like many American families, my daughters and I recently returned from a road trip before they head back to school. Perhaps unlike other families, our journey was not just with the goal of taking a vacation. We drove from North Carolina to Texas to help achieve another objective: reauthorizing PEPFAR (the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief). A huge – and meaningful – part of PEPFAR’s progress over the past two decades has been reducing mother-to-child transmission of HIV, ensuring 5.5 million babies were born without needing a lifetime of medicine to survive. It’s an incredible achievement, and as a mom, it’s crucial to support programs that ensure mothers have the resources to provide for their children’s health and wellbeing. As we drove through the US, meeting with Congressional staffers and ONE activists along the way, I was reminded of how important it is to speak up for PEPFAR now. The program's reauthorization expires in just 6 weeks, so please join us in doing everything we can to fight HIV/AIDS. |

Now that we have returned from the road safe and sound, add your name to the group of over the 11,000 Americans who have already made their voices heard in support of PEPFAR's reauthorization. It only takes one click to make a difference. Thank you, |
