California is taking real steps to protect the nation’s health, friend.

A bill to BAN five of the most dangerous food additives on the market is being considered by lawmakers right now. If California signs the bill, A.B. 418, into law, manufacturers would likely make their products safer for the entire country too!

The five additives listed in this bill are Red Dye No. 3, potassium bromate, propyl paraben, brominated vegetable oil and titanium dioxide. EWG co-sponsored this legislation with Consumer Reports because we believe these chemicals have no place in our food supply.
