August 17th, 2023 It has been another extraordinary week here at America First Legal. We filed a massive class-action lawsuit against insurance giant Progressive Insurance — the 3rd largest insurer in the United States — for allegedly engaging in illegal racial discrimination. We also sued the governor of Washington to block enforcement of a new “state-sanctioned kidnapping” bill that allows the state to hide kids from their parents to perform “gender transitions” - including disfiguring drugs and mutilating surgeries. We continued to investigate corrupt bureaucrats and launched a series of state Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests regarding a letter written by twelve state attorneys general, all Democrats, to the CEOs of Twitter and Facebook, seeking to censor the views of American citizens in collusion with the UK-based pro-censorship organization, the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH).
