On Friday 25 August, I am holding a special auction and dinner to help raise money for Melksham Free Dining, a fantastic local charity who provide free meals and social events for older local residents. The Free Diners are looking to raise additional funding to help them open for an extra day each week, extending what is already an invaluable resource for the local community. 

Charity Auction Now OPEN!

I am holding a special auction in aid of the diners as part of the event, which is now OPEN for advance bidding for those who can't make it on the night. There are a whole host of fantastic prizes up for grabs, generously donated by local businesses. 

Whether you're passionate about unique collectables, indulgent experiences, or simply discovering hidden treasures, our auction has something for everyone. Imagine bidding on 2 18th hole Hospitality Tickets for the BMW PGA Golf Final Day at Wentworth worth over £500, an exclusive Bath Rugby shirt signed by the team, a Night Stay with Bed and Breakfast at Homewood, or even a captivating piece of artwork! These are just a few examples of the incredible prizes that await you.

You can participate in the auction online by sending an email to [email protected] or replying to this email, indicating the lot number and item you're interested in, along with your bid amount.

Please remember to include your full name, home address and telephone number. And don't worry – if you find yourself outbid before the event, you'll be notified promptly and given the chance to raise your bid. However, those who attend the dinner will have the final opportunity to outbid. 

Any advance bids must be made before the deadline on Friday 25 August at 12pm.

Some Tickets Still Remaining For The Evening!

There's also still time to get your ticket for the evening to bid in person! The event starts at 6pm at Melksham Assembly Hall, with dinner from 7pm, and tickets are £15 each. Fish and chips (or vegetarian burger) with dessert is on the menu, and it would be fantastic to see as many people there as possible!

Unfortunately tickets are not available on the night, so don't forget to book in advance if you would like to come along!
