I credit my fellow NC Republicans- they took the veto of our woke Democrat governor and overrode him, SIX TIMES IN ONE DAY!
Here's the best part though.
This wasn't really a partisan play. Governor Cooper tried to pull a Gavin Newsom here, with some of the worst, least sensible policy this side of San Francisco.
The overrides will help protect women's sports; prevent young children from being mutilated; encoded a Parent's Bill of Rights; and more.
It's common sense- and the NC GOP stood firm for it.
I will bring that same common sense to DC, a place where common sense is not very common at all!
