Dear PFAW Member –
President Trump’s new budget deals out cuts to healthcare, food and housing programs, social security, programs that support children with disabilities, Medicaid and more. Rather than building a “Budget for America’s Future” this budget would deny desperately needed help for millions.
We should be building a future in which every American has access to affordable healthcare, nutritious food, affordable housing, and a job that allows them to put food on the table and provide for their families. This budget instead sets up traps to deny assistance to low-income people and to perpetuate income inequality.
Tell Congress: this budget won't work!>>
Trump cannot get away with taking away crucial social supports for low-income people to make up for deficits created by tax breaks for the one percent.
