I’m writing on behalf of Immigrants Rising to let you know about an upcoming webinar we’re hosting in partnership with Welcoming America ([link removed]) and Build from Within Alliance ([link removed]) . It’s happening on Tuesday, August 29 at 12 p.m. PT and is designed for business support organizations and micro entrepreneurship programs who want to learn more about creating access to capital and business planning services for undocumented immigrant entrepreneurs.

The objectives of the webinar are to:
* Understand the benefits and challenges of entrepreneurship for the undocumented community
* Learn about state investments in social entrepreneurship geared toward immigrants, regardless of immigration status
* Get access to information and resources, specifically tailored to serve undocumented entrepreneurs

I’ll be participating as a panelist alongside Dan Wang, Ph.D. (Associate Professor of Business, Columbia Business School), Jana Lazarewicz (Northern California District Manager, State of California, Employment Training Panel) and Armando Ibañez (Filmmaker, Ibañez Productions).
