As you surely know, the 2020 election is in full swing! Three states have already voted in the Democratic presidential primary and Super Tuesday is around the corner.
BYD will do all it can to remove Donald Trump from the White House. But we also know that real change starts in our communities, which is why we are proud to support two amazing young women running for State Assembly: Genesis Aquino and Emily Gallagher.
Genesis and Emily are relying on grassroots volunteers to get on the ballot and win their primary races.

Additionally, next month, on March 5th, BYD will elect its Executive Board, which will govern the organization through 2020.
We will also vote on the following endorsements for the upcoming 2020 Democratic primary elections:
50th AD Female District Leader, 56th Assembly District, 25th Senate District, 57th Assembly District, 44th Assembly District Leaders, 42nd Assembly District Leaders, 52nd Assembly District Leaders, and the 3rd Municipal District (Judicial).

Candidates will be given brief opportunities to address our members and fill out a questionnaire that will be distributed prior to the meeting. All dues-paying members who have attended at least 1 previous BYD meeting are eligible to vote. Stay tuned for information on proxy voting for March 5th.
