This is the same day as the Municipal Elections in most municipalities in Palm Beach County. If you are a Republican who has been considering running for Mayor or City Council in your municipality, the time to run is now! With record Republican voter turnout anticipated in March there has never been a better time to run for local office. 90 seats are up for election! Most of the qualifying dates for each municipality are in November. Please check with your local municipality for the exact qualifying dates. Below is a list of the municipalities in Palm Beach County that have seats up for election in 2024. Election date is March 19, 2024, unless otherwise noted. While we have been adding thousands of Republican voters to the voter rolls, Democrats have been losing voters. This is the largest advantage Republicans have ever had in Florida and if the totals keep trending like they have been the difference could be over 1 million voters by the 2024 elections which would be huge. We need to keep registering more Republican voters in Palm Beach County. Please encourage your friends and neighbors especially new neighbors who may have moved in from out of state to register to vote and to register as Republicans. Here is the link to register to vote on the Palm Beach County SOE website: [link removed] Kevin Neal Chairman Palm Beach County Republican Executive Committee PRESIDENT TRUMP ENDORSES EARLY VOTING AND VOTE-BY-MAIL President Trump recently came out in support of Vote-by-Mail and Early In-Person Voting in states that allow it (Like Florida). This comes as Governor Ron DeSantis has also come out in support of Early Voting and won the Early Vote in 2022 (Vote-by-Mail + Early Voting). REQUEST YOUR VOTE-BY-MAIL BALLOT The FloridaGOP is asking you to request your Vote-by-Mail Ballot to ensure that you have a ballot automatically sent to you, which helps remind you of upcoming elections. After you receive your vote-by-mail ballot, you still have three options: Fill it out and return it by mail (all counties allow you to track your ballot, just like Fedex) Fill it out and drop it off at an Elections Office or Early Voting Location in your county. Do not fill out your vote-by-mail ballot, and instead, go vote in person. (Bring your blank vote-by-mail ballot with you to show that you have not filled it out) My preference: I prefer to vote on Election Day. My wife and 3 girls go out for an early breakfast and are one of the first in line right at 7am before school drop off. With that said, both of us always request our vote-by-mail ballot, fill it out, and put it in our desk drawer just in case one of us has to unexpectedly go out of town. With that in mind, if you are a Republican in Florida (Yes, even you Election Day-only voters) I am asking you to contact your County's Election Office RIGHT NOW to request your ballot over the phone. Here’s the link to request a Vote-By-Mail ballot in Palm Beach County: [link removed] Note: As Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida, I am committed to chasing every single Republican ballot. We will do this on Election Day AND during the critical Vote-By-Mail window and Early In-Person Voting days. Thanks! -Christian Ziegler FloridaGOP Chairman President Trump endorses Early Voting and Vote By Mail SID SEZ Incumbency Matters By Sid Dinerstein August 15, 2023 [email protected] There are two kinds of elections: open-seat and Challenger versus Incumbent. They’re not the same. That’s why open seats draw so many more candidates. So, what’s so special about incumbency? The answer is: The election is different in the minds of the voters. Remember them? In a challenger/incumbent election, the voters do NOT try to figure out who the best candidate is. The first question the voters ask themselves is: Are we willing to throw the incumbent out? If the answer is “No,” the challenger has little chance of winning, regardless of how much “better” he thinks he is. So, what’s a challenger to do? The answer: Go negative early. If you can’t convince the voters to turn on the incumbent, forget the election. They won’t even know your name. If the voters are willing to oust the opponent, you’re still not home free. But you have a chance. Then they’ll want to meet you. That becomes question number two: Is the challenger more attractive than the incumbent? Question three, the final question, involves viability. Does the challenger have money, volunteers, endorsements and the appearance of success? Shoestring challengers are almost never successful. And when they are, it’s because of special circumstances involving the incumbent. Quick. Which Republican beat Eric Cantor in that famous upset? If RFK, Jr beats Joe Biden in the primaries, is it because of RFK’s strength or Joe Biden’s weakness? See how this works. Good luck, candidates. Plan your strategies carefully. YOU’RE INVITED! My name is Mike Letsky, and I am running for the Palm Beach County School Board, District 5, which encompasses Boca Raton, West Boca Raton, and Highland Beach. As a local business owner, a proud veteran, and a parent to two children currently enrolled in the Palm Beach County school system, I have a unique perspective and understanding of our district's challenges and opportunities. Above all, I understand the importance of exceptional education, as my children are navigating the exact system I seek to improve. My campaign is focused on three main objectives: Increasing Teacher Pay: Our educators are the backbone of our school system. They inspire, guide, and encourage our children daily, and their compensation should reflect their invaluable role. By providing competitive pay, we can attract and retain the best educators, ensuring our children receive the high-quality education they deserve. Protecting Our Kids from Harmful Content: The world our children navigate is complex and filled with potential dangers. That's why I am committed to implementing measures that safeguard our students from inappropriate and harmful content, whether online or within school materials. Enhancing School Safety: Ensuring our schools are safe from violence is a top priority. I am dedicated to working with parents, educators, law enforcement, and the community to develop and implement effective strategies to ensure our children can learn in a secure environment. I've been married for over 17 years, and my commitment to family values drives my dedication to this campaign. I aim to bring positive, lasting change to our school system, to provide our children with the best possible learning environment, and to ensure our educators are recognized and rewarded for their important work. I would greatly appreciate your support in achieving these objectives. To learn more about my campaign or contribute, please visit our website at [link removed]. You can also sign up to volunteer or share our message with friends, family, and community members. We can create a better future for our children and community. BRIAN MAST, OCT. 13 Congressman Brian Mast Join us to hear about the workings of the House Republican Majority and the Congressman's work with the Trump campaign. Duffy's Sports Grill 11588 U.S. HWY 1 NORTH PALM BEACH, FL 33408 Dinner 5:30 - 7:00 pm - Open Menu Speaker 7:00 pm - no charge Please RSVP Now Congressman Brian Mast is in his fourth term representing the 21st Congressional District of Florida. Prior to his election to Congress, Brian followed in his father’s footsteps by serving in the U.S. Army for more than 12 years, earning medals including The Bronze Star Medal, The Army Commendation Medal for Valor, The Purple Heart Medal, and The Defense Meritorious Service Medal. While deployed in Afghanistan, he worked as a bomb disposal expert under the elite Joint Special Operations Command. The last improvised explosive device that he found resulted in catastrophic injuries, which included the loss of both of his legs. While lying in bed recovering at Walter Reed Medical Center, Brian’s father gave him advice that has stuck with him to this day–to ensure the greatest service he gave to our country and the best example he set for his children was still ahead of him. Brian took this advice to heart and dedicated himself to finding new ways to serve our country and his community. Brian remained on active duty following the injuries and provided expertise to the National Nuclear Security Administration and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms during his recovery process. After his retirement from the Army, he continued working in counter-terrorism and national defense as an Explosive Specialist with the Department of Homeland Security. Brian subsequently received a degree from Harvard University and volunteered to serve alongside the Israel Defense Forces to show support for the freedom Israel represents throughout the Middle East and the world. In Congress, Brian strives to serve as he did on the battlefield: without regard for personal gain or personal sacrifice. He is a member of two committees: The Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, where his priorities include fixing the pressing water quality issues stemming from Lake Okeechobee, and the Foreign Affairs Committee, where he uses his military expertise to help strengthen the safety and security of the United States Brian lives in Fort Pierce, Fla. with his wife Brianna and four children: Magnum, Maverick, Madalyn and Major.
