It’s August 17, which means the month is officially more than halfway over! We just crunched the numbers this morning, and we have some bad news: We’ve only raised about 30% of our goal for online fundraising this month.

You may be wondering: It’s the off-year! Why does Becca need to raise money? It’s a fair question! But the thing is, when you run for Congress every two years, campaigning never really stops.

We’re likely to face another competitive primary next year, and conservative interest groups could come out of the woodwork to spend against us. The Balint Organizing Corps will continue on after the summer ends, and we hope to open a field office soon.
