Republicans are eyeing any potential opportunity to flip a Senate seat and take back the majority this cycle. Nevada decided the Senate majority in 2022 -- and it could decide it again in 2024. Here are three reasons you should care about this race:

1. Nevada is a quintessential swing state. In 2022, they reelected a Democratic senator AND a Republican governor. So, at this point, the 2024 Senate race is anyone's game.

2. The latest polls show Sen. Jacky Rosen neck-and-neck with potential GOP challengers, and any polling within the margin of error is far too close for comfort.

3. This cycle will help shape the political future of the Silver State: Will it continue trending blue, or will it become a reliable red state for Republicans?
