Have you thought about why our culture has become so sexualized? Modern society’s views on sex largely originated from Alfred Kinsey.
John,
Have you thought about why and how our culture has become so sexualized?
Modern society’s views on sex largely originated from sexologist Alfred Kinsey (1894-1956) who is known as “The Father of the Sexual Revolution.”
Despite having no rightly-founded expertise in the field of sex and marriage, he became the primary professor for Indiana University’s marriage preparation course, and he wrote the books, “Sexual Behavior in the Human Male” and “Sexual Behavior in the Human Female.”
These books - somehow - became the standard for sexual education and have caused immense damage to our cultural mindset… and they continue to do so.
The first step to addressing any problem is simple awareness. I ask you to read the 4-part series about Kinsey on our Live Action News website.
If you only have time to read one right now, I suggest you read part two, which describes the house of cards that was Kinsey’s research: [link removed] ([link removed] )
(I must warn you - the content in these articles is difficult to read and is not appropriate for young readers.)
You can find part one ([link removed] ) , which gives a brief description of Kinsey’s life and how he ended up as a sexologist, here.
Part three ([link removed] ) explains how Kinsey got “data” about child sex from pedophiles.
You can read about how Kinsey wanted to shape sex education - and succeeded - in part four ([link removed] ) .
Kinsey was known to the public as a family man and a man of science, but his “research” was actually driven by his personal obsessions with—and tendencies toward—homosexuality, exhibitionism, masochism, and masturbation.
Kinsey believed science should entirely replace religion… which is ironic because his “science” was not even based on real facts.
He tried to prove that abnormal sexual behavior was actually normal… but his “evidence” was based on the behavior of outliers, namely, sex offenders (including pedophiles).
Undoubtedly, Kinsey was not far from being a sex offender himself, as his students told of him engaging in sexual, inappropriate behavior right in front of them. And yet, his “research” has become so widely accepted that it’s being used in schools across the country, even today.
You might recognize Kinsey’s name from your own school textbooks growing up. And, if you pay close attention, you might notice Kinsey’s influence within the school curricula of the children in your life right now.
Knowing the mass influence of such a disturbed and morally depraved man, are we surprised that sexual behavior once recognized as deviant has now largely become mainstream?
Additionally, are we surprised that this kind of sexual so-called “freedom” has led to a widespread abortion mindset?
Although we may find ourselves squirming in our chairs, we must look at the sobering and shocking facts of history that have shaped our world today.
I find it deeply disturbing that influences like Kinsey are left unchecked and proceed to spread like wildfire.
Each part of this series provides important facts that allow you to see how our culture has become the sex-saturated place it is, and ultimately how abortion has become de-stigmatized for so many across the country.
John, did you already know about Kinsey’s atrocious influence on education and culture? Did you learn anything new about the gravity of this problem through this 4-part series?
We have no time to lose in keeping ourselves educated and passionate about ending the sexual immorality that leads to the killing of preborn children in our country. I’d love to hear your thoughts on Kinsey’s influence - just reply to this email.
