Last month, we launched our campaign to win here in Oregon’s 5th district, and earlier this month, we held our in-person launch event.

I would have traveled across the state to be in the same room with the people who attended our in-person launch, but instead, they came to Bend.

We talked about our shared values — fighting for working people, safeguarding our air and water, protecting our fundamental rights and freedoms, and so much more. The energy and passion I felt in the room made me more optimistic than ever about our future.

And it’s clear that our opponent is feeling the heat. That’s why Kevin McCarthy’s Super PAC has already swooped in to start spending money here in Oregon. We can’t let out-of-state mega-donors control the narrative of this campaign.
