Folks, I’ve been a proponent of affordable childcare since my very first day in Washington.

And the entire time, naysayers have told me any universal childcare bill would be “dead on arrival.”

Well, I think that’s just plain wrong.

Before I explain, can I ask you to help me defy the odds and support Nevada’s working families by chipping in to support my battleground campaign in NV-03?

Affordable childcare would have enormous economic and personal benefits.

It would put tens of thousands of dollars back into the pockets of working families, allow more parents – especially moms – to enter the workforce and start businesses, and it would ensure young kids have a safe, supportive, and educational environment in their earliest years.

Just because the hypocritical, far-right “family-values” crowd opposes it (and nearly all other policies that benefit working families) , doesn’t mean we need to accept defeat.

But I need your help to continue this fight. Defending NV-03 is the first step toward retaking the House majority and passing critical policies like affordable childcare. So please, will you rush $25 to keep NV-03 blue and support working families?
