Michigan Airports Conference
The 2023 Michigan Airport Conference is being held at the Muskegon Convention Center, September 11-14. Registration for attendees and vendors is now open! Delta Hotels by Marriott has a reserved block of rooms through August 18. Click here or visit www.michairports.org to register and view a draft agenda.

Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 Budget
The FY 2024 budget has been signed by Governor Whitmer. In addition to the traditional Airport Improvement Program funding, the budget includes $5M for the Air Service Program and $2M for the State/Local Program. Look for additional program information at the upcoming Michigan Airport Conference and in future notifications.

New Electronic Signature Announcement
Aero Sponsor Contracts are now being signed through a click-to-sign software called OneSpan. This replaces DocuSign and can be done on any device that has email access. Additional software or program installation is not required. OneSpan sends the contract directly to the signer?s email for signature and cannot be forwarded. A separate email will be sent from Aero for Resolutions and FAA Certifications.

Fiscal Year End Reminder
Aero is beginning the year end process for FY 2023 accounting. It is a requirement to track any costs incurred for services performed on or before September 30, 2023, but that have not yet been submitted to Aero. To ensure we are prepared, please submit the most accurate information possible for any outstanding invoices, sponsor credits, and/or reimbursement requests, for actual services performed prior to October 1, 2023, as soon as possible.

Call for Aviation Photos
Aero is putting out a call for photography. We are looking for interesting photos of aviation and aviation-related activities in Michigan to replenish the Aero photo archives. These will be used in presentations, publications, and materials, so no copyrighted submissions without permission please. We would love to showcase Michigan?s beautiful airport communities, aviation staff, emerging aviation technologies, and all things aviation. Please contact Mikey Soper or Alicia Morrison for more information or to submit photos.

Call for Award Nominations
