The latest indictment against former President Trump continues to shed light on allegations of a disturbing scheme to manipulate the outcome of the 2020 election and perpetuate falsehoods that undermine the core of our electoral process.

The allegations in Georgia highlight the dangers of threats and harassment aimed at election officials - a tactic that threatens the bedrock of our democracy. This indictment centers in part on the infamous phone call where former President Trump urged the Georgia Secretary of State to "find" votes and even suggested that failure to comply could lead to prosecution.

Until now, legal consequences for such conduct were absent. This Georgia indictment sends a powerful message: Interfering with elections will not go unpunished. Justice stands ready to hold accountable those who attempt to manipulate the will of the people.

The work of protecting our democracy will continue stronger than ever as we head into the 2024 presidential election. But our fight for democracy requires resources. As we face this pivotal moment, can I count on you to support our efforts to defend our elections, uphold justice, and ensure that the voice of the people prevails?

We need to raise another $5,000 this week and your contribution, whether $10, $25, or more, fuels our mission to safeguard our democracy. Let's make it clear that election interference has no place in America. Please chip in now → [[link removed]]

Bipartisan unity against election interference is crucial. Despite our political differences, the Georgia Secretary of State and I are colleagues. We share a commitment to the oath we've taken, and a pledge to uphold the integrity of our democracy above all else.

The 2024 election is close at hand, with Minnesota's presidential primary starting in January. We must stay vigilant, lead with the truth, combat election disinformation, and elevate our democracy.

I need your help now to keep leading with the truth and dispelling misinformation. Your support this week helps us build the resources to keep correcting the record. Chip in now → [[link removed]]

Thank you for standing with us in this crucial battle for the integrity of our elections.

Steve
