Hi there,

Donald Trump’s upcoming trial in Florida — in which he’s being charged with 37 felony counts of illegal retention of classified documents, obstruction of justice, and more — must be televised for the public.

Historically, federal courts prohibit the broadcasting of their trials. But exceptions can be made in the spirit of public interest, and exceptions must be made now. The threat to our democracy is too great — we NEED full transparency with this trial.

Sign the petition: Donald Trump’s trial should be televised, so that nothing can be hidden or obscured from the public.

I won’t beat around the bush. I have major doubts about the impartiality of the judge in this trial, and I know I’m not alone.

Judge Aileen Cannon has already issued multiple judgments in favor of Trump, which successfully slowed down the investigation into his mis-use of classified documents.

The rulings were so bad that higher courts even called her rulings dangerous and misguided. Other judges said they were “a violation of bedrock separation-of-powers limitations.”

We cannot afford to take any chances. This is one of the biggest trials in U.S. history, and the people deserve to know, without a shadow of a doubt, that the case is being handled professionally and impartially.

Add your name today: demand that video broadcasting be allowed throughout the trial of Trump’s mis-use of classified documents.
