John,
Fifty years ago, the United States embarked on a path of mass incarceration that has led to a staggering increase in the prison population and the number of people disenfranchised from voting due to a felony conviction. More than 4.6 million people were prohibited from voting in 2022.
We invite you to participate virtually in next week’s Civic Power Convening to engage in civic engagement strategies to challenge mass incarceration. The convening will bring together advocates, researchers, and others to build on recent efforts to expand the vote.
This year’s convening is a hybrid event and you can register here [[link removed]] to join FREE, live virtual sessions! Click here [[link removed]] to view the schedule.
