The death toll from the wildfires has risen to 106 and isn't expected to stop growing anytime soon. Over 1,000 people remain missing as only 32% of the burned area has been searched. Despite being urged to leave by officials, thousands of tourists have decided to stay in Maui, prompting frustration from survivors.

BILL: Should we protect workers' rights to organize? - Richard L. Trumka Protecting the Right to Organize Act of 2023 - H.R.20

The bill would expand labor protections related to employees' rights to organize and bargain in the workplace. Expands unfair labor practices to include prohibitions against the replacement of, or discrimination against, workers who participate in strikes.
