Let me explain why your contribution to Ruben’s Senate race is so important today.
Ruben Gallego is running one of the most challenging Senate races in the country. While most Democrats are running for reelection this cycle, Ruben is running to bring Arizona a Senator who will fight for their best interests, a Democrat who will live up to their promise to vote for progressive legislation and advocate for working families.
Kyrsten Sinema has been a substantial blockade in passing life-changing legislation in Congress since 2021. When she voted against raising the minimum wage in 2021 with showy thumbs down during the height of the pandemic and blocked President Biden’s infrastructure bill for months, she made it clear that she is not representing the needs of her constituents, but those of special corporate interests and mega-donors. With a new Democratic Senate majority, that was the last thing many of us expected.
But if anyone can replace her, it will be Ruben Gallego. Ruben is the son of immigrant parents and understands the struggles of working Americans firsthand. He grew up poor, relying on social programs and experiencing sleepless nights on his apartment floor. And despite all of his struggles, he went on to serve his country as a Marine in Iraq.
Ruben has devoted his life to serving his country and will continue to fight for Americans as a Senator. But he is in one of the toughest races in the country — having to fight back against Kyrsten Sinema’s mega-donors and the potential for right-wing extremist Kari Lake to enter his race.
So please, contribute to Ruben Gallego’s Senate campaign today to help him fight against mega-donor money. 100% of your contribution will go directly to his campaign.
